Construction of the Rudnichnye HPP-1 and HPP-2

At the beginning of 2025, Power Bridge started building the Rudnichnye Small HPP-1 and HPP-2 on the Koksu River, Zhetysu Region. Construction is progressing across all sites. Commissioning is expected mid-2026, strengthening renewable development and energy resilience.

Visit of the Akim of the Zhetysu Region

On 18 April 2025, the Akim of the Zhetysu Region visited Verkhny Baskan HPP-1 and 2. Discussed key Baskan River projects — the Pokatilov Reservoir and irrigation system modernisation within Kazakhstan’s National Development Plan to 2029.

Sustainable Development in Zhetysu

Commissioning of Verkhny Baskan HPP-2 and HPP-3

In December 2024, Verkhny Baskan Small HPP-2 and HPP-3 were successfully commissioned in the Zhetysu Region — a key milestone reaffirming our mission to advance Kazakhstan’s renewable energy.

Issyk HPP-2: A Milestone in Clean Energy Development

The Issyk Small HPP-2 on the Issyk River was commissioned in 2016. Installed capacity: 5 MW. Annual generation: about 20 million kWh of environmentally friendly electricity.
